Brilliant all round performance. Solid defensively and some lovely football going forward.

Would give everyone at least a 7. Mo didn’t have his shooting boots on but worked hard for the team.

Now can we start repeating that in the PL :folded_hands:

When we play a proper footballing team we are a different team altogether so happy tonight we are through in the top 8 thankfully. YNWA

Very happy with the performance. Defensively we looked a lot stronger with Joe in the middle. Gave my MOM Soz but it could have been any of the lads really. A really good team effort.

Well executed gameplan, each player ran their socks off without the ball and much more assertive during Marseille’s brighter moments.

Bit of a shame to see Mo hasn’t regained any spark being at AFCON but the good thing is, the rest of the team seem to be gelling a lot more now

Good team performance. I was impressed with Kerkez and particularly Frimpong as full backs. Lots of creativity. It’s a big win and this is very much in our own hands at the moment.

Excellent performance. Full backs were great, defence solid, midfield very good.
Mo is still a concern, although he did seem to be tracking back more than usual.

Worth getting up for.

Like Inter, I was anticipating a much harder night but we did a lot right and made it easy for ourselves. A very entertaining game and a lot of very good performances on show.

Ali saved/caught everything. Imperious.
Gomez stepped in at short notice and looked great.
Midfield 3 were all superb in winning the ball back, looked like a title winning midfield again.
Fullbacks are my favourite players, gritty defensively and energetic going forward. For a small lad, Frimpong puts some people over/off balance.
Although he’ll be frustrated with himself, I loved Hugo’s all action packed performance.
Gakpo came on and was a threat every time he had it.

That was a very good performance. Nothing about the opposition in my view. We’ve played worse and made them look much better. Came out in the second and remained hungry and aggressive. Some of the link up play was a joy to watch.

Frimpong and Kerkez for me.

Going to be tough for people to find much to moan about for the next couple days.

Maybe having Alonso waiting in the wings has meant Slot has bucked his ideas up :wink:
