I’m finally there, I agree. Love the guy and have really wanted him to do well. But he’s had so many chances and there’s enough of a sample size to suggest he’s never going to be a consistent goalscorer. Tonight you were just hoping any forward ball went to Mo instead of Darwin

As Schär is Swiss, I’ve watched him play many times. He’s a good, technical player, but scoring that goal is surely the most unikely thing he’ll ever achieve in his career. 99 times out 100, this goes anywhere but into the net.

Of course he’s made blunders, he’s played 270 odd games for the club.
But he doesn’t make anywhere near as many errors…particuarly in 1 game.
