Trent was booked for time wasting.

Make of that what you will.

it’s quite clearly an agenda. And it’s not even me being sarcastic

Wouldn’t even have been a foul 10 years ago, but probably a red nowadays

He wasn’t he was booked for throwing ball away.

after he got fouled in the first place

I’ve posted many a time that there’s been an agenda against us since the Premier League started. It’s down to the city’s anti-establishment stance.

I would call it an unlucky red.

Last man, it’s a foul. However I don’t think there was any intent by VvD. In real time it looked like an excellent tackle.

However it was a red by letter of the law.

w.r.t VVD’s red card , there is no way there was an obvious goal scoring opportunity there. Even if he had the ball , and VVD hadn’t tackled… that wasn’t a goal chance

It’s a shit fucking decision

Official reason was ā€œdelaying the restartā€, ie time wasting

who reads the law ?

Yeah

Virgil doesn’t do those tackles unless he’s damn sure he gets the ball. He isn’t a dirty cunt tackler like the other guys. This decision was a fucking disgrace.

I assume they will seek clarification on the new rule and decide what to do next and whether they appeal it.

As I posted in the ā€œRefereesā€ thread, if any other team commits that same foul, it’s a yellow card.

Disgusting decision.

He clipped his foot. It was clearly a foul.

There’s no way it’s a clear goal scoring opportunity given the momentum of the striker. Do people expect to believe that he’s going to stop and then do a wonder shot to beat the keeper?
