Gods did the ultimate fuck earlier in the season. Something these lads still haven’t recovered from.
End of the day I don’t think we played well, I don’t think it was good but a hell of a lot of circumstances at a ground where we’ve not played well at since the 90s then throw losing Wirtz like that it’s about time we were given something.
Yes I was happy for the 3 points and as I said before 1:0 wins for the last 10 games would do me.
I agree with the LFCtv pundits Slot givng them time off is not working we need to organise a friendly midweek for the next game. I hope Slot will now stop mentioning the last loss to them.
I’ve had a few “at least we can’t play worse than this” moments this season. Today’s first half is another one where I was proved wrong. 0.06 xG…
Instead of looking forward to our games, I’m dreading it. Win, draw or lose, our games just feel unexciting. I hope these three points are the parting gift of Slot before he’s replaced. I really want to feel excitement and enjoyment watching our games. And we still have a good chance of top 5,but I don’t see it with the way we currently play.
Again I don’t think he gave them time off, he said we have time off and then went into discussing games every few days which to me suggests we might still have been training. Arranging a friendly couldn’t be more of a worst idea with the lack of central defence and now others.
If they aren’t training I tend to agree perhaps but we aren’t quite sure what he actually meant.
Anyhow I enjoyed the last 15, we beat a team with a scummy owner and some of a fan base that wanted to side with SY police. Good fuck em and even more so due to the fact they probably loved the VAR decision.
Rio is the only player we have that can make things happen from being direct, Gakpo will take 50 touches and end up in the exact same position to when he received the ball, basically he wastes a hell of a lot of time doing sweet fuck all.
Why are the BBC designating 5th place as a Europa League qualification spot. Is it not yet official that 5th place will qualify for the Champions League?
Liverpool, who had more than a week to prepare for this game, were woeful in the opening 45 minutes. Arne Slot’s side managed just three touches in the Forest box, while the 12 shots they faced in the first half was the most since their 6-1 defeat at Stoke in 2015.
1st half terrible, got a hint of the 2nd half improvement once Slot swapped Dom and Curtis’ positions on about 35’.
Really don’t want to see any more of Slot wasting Dom at RB he’s our best player and needs to be in midfield.
2nd half better, had about 10-15 minutes of dominance and probably should have scored but didn’t. Wish Ekitike was a bit more clinical with his head. Surprised how the end of match xG actually favored us.
We’ve had a few very unlucky losses and draws, so I guess by karma we were due a lucky win.
Now level on pts 4-5-6th places. Going to be a very interesting run in…
Next 3 are West Ham, Wolves, Tottenham all 15th and below.
3 of final 4 are Chelsea, Man U, and Villa.
It’s in our hands to finish top 4-5 if we take care of our business
But unfortunately Liverpool put the ball in the net, by fair means or foul…ref agreed…sort of…and VAR showed the onside…so however the BBC look at it…it was a Liverpool win…
