Again I don’t think he gave them time off, he said we have time off and then went into discussing games every few days which to me suggests we might still have been training. Arranging a friendly couldn’t be more of a worst idea with the lack of central defence and now others.

He can and has been. The defensive contribution is just not there, while the attack is inconsistent to justify a start, even with Gakpo’s poor form.

Rio is the only player we have that can make things happen from being direct, Gakpo will take 50 touches and end up in the exact same position to when he received the ball, basically he wastes a hell of a lot of time doing sweet fuck all.

1st half terrible, got a hint of the 2nd half improvement once Slot swapped Dom and Curtis’ positions on about 35’.
Really don’t want to see any more of Slot wasting Dom at RB he’s our best player and needs to be in midfield.
2nd half better, had about 10-15 minutes of dominance and probably should have scored but didn’t. Wish Ekitike was a bit more clinical with his head. Surprised how the end of match xG actually favored us.
