A good result obtained by that reshuffled team throwing in a few youngsters. All the lads grew into the game after a pretty shite first half, but in the end, they made the gap in quality count.

MoM for me: Morton. He played really well I thought. Neco a good challenger for it as well. Adrian deserves a mention for keeping us in the game during the first half.

Tyler Morton is really good. Didn’t put a foot wrong all game. Much better second half than first, Neco, Taki and Div providing the added bit of quality that was lacking beforehand.

Pretty impressed with that to be honest. Great job by Tyler Morton and Neco Williams.

Van Den Berg looks significantly bulked up and a much better player than when he left. Easy to forget he is only 19.

Tossup between Adrián or Morton for motm, went with the keeper. That’s the second time I have seen Morton play and he has impressed me both times.

Based on 93 minutes on Sunday and tonights 45 minutes for Phillips I can hand on heart say that Phillips is quicker on the turn and in a straight line Maguire.

That’s my take away from this evening.

I have a sudden urge to sleep now, as if my work is done and I’m at peace.

Voted Adrian as MotM as he kept us in it and everyone else was slagging him off pre-match.

Really rather poor from us. Very disjointed and a few not taking their opportunities. I felt Blair was out of his depth - good positioning but poor control. Morton the best of the young lads for me.

However a win is a win and there will be more opportunities for some.
