Beilsa thinks Spurs need to be more balanced.

Yeah as I said earlier if you told me we would win 6-3 i wouldn’t have been surprised .

My only concern was not wasting our chances and letting them make the most of their ones well we didn’t waste ours though we could easily have scored more.

When we won big under Klopp we then served up crap so I’m glad they pegged us back without ever looking like they would win or draw.

No matter how shite you’re playing if you’re 2-1 down after half an hour you are in the game.
Likewise, if you are 2 goals down with 12/13 minutes left to play you are still in the game unless I’m mistaken and no team has ever scored 2 goals in that amount of time.

So you want that every game we are 3 goals up with less than 10 minutes remaining?

Me too mate, but having less than that doesn’t mean the other team is in the game.

I get what you mean, but Spurs were never in the game, they could score how many they wanted today, we’d always score more.

Just watched the game, an aside from an annoying habit of complacency when in comfortable leads, it was a dominant away performance.

Squash that tendency to put our feet up when we think the game is done, and we’ll win this fucker no problem.

Robbo arguably got a jekyll and hyde performance in this match. The first half was brilliant from him.

The second half after the subs was bad
The spurs’ second goal came from Robbo completely missing Kulusevski. Spur’s third goal came from Robbo first misjudging the flight of the ball and then being unable to compete with Brennan Johnson physically

THEY MADE OUR STADIUM THEIR PLAYGROUND! Tottenham 6-3 Liverpool [INSTANT MATCH REACTION]

I think the issue was that they were that open after 5 - 1 we were trying to hit killer balls rather than to cut them open with good short simple passing.

They then cut out a couple of balls and had counter attacks where they passed the ball well and we were a little sluggish in response to their passing and movement.

Mate listen, without assessing the situation, saying that the scoreline at a given point in time reflects a certain reality is like saying CR7 is better than R9 just because CR7 scored more goals. That is meaningless without context of teams, opponents, era of football.
Trent made a sloppy pass that allowed spurs to win the ball off Alexis and score a goal. You could tell by the lack of Maddison’s dart celebration that they knew this was just a feeble response and not reflective of what’s to come. We proceeded almost immediately to get our two goal lead back. Likewise, at 3-5, even the crowd didn’t completely believe that a comeback as possible and then we got a bit of control and march on down and scored the sixth goal. Nobody is satisfied with conceding three goals but it’s just patently false to say that the game was in any way shape or form in danger of being a loss or even a draw for us at any point.

I think where some of us are aggrieved with conceding 3 is that the game wasn’t that close, we were far superior than 3 goals difference suggests and that performance deserved a greater score margin.

Also, it has to be said that Spurs seemed to score with ever decent chance they had

Just to add to the to and fro ; at 1-5 it’s an absolute cakewalk. At 3-5 with ten minutes left to play it’s still in the balance and the next goal is crucial. Luckily we managed to bag it just as easily as the rest. I never felt it was in doubt , but you never really know.

For an hour though that was some of the best football I can remember. We were fucking imperious. The passing , the technique , the pressing , the decision making and just the sheer relentlessness of it has convinced me that this side under Slot know they have it in them to be champions comes May.

The one thing that still gives me nightmares however , especially after their individual performances yesterday , is what happens to that team with no Van Dijk , no Salah or no Trent or even in the worst case scenario , none of them. FSG must get this sorted asap.

Spurs are a crazy attacking team with some quality players. We made a couple of mistakes which they capitalised on with well taken goals. Fair play to them for keeping going to the end. We also scored 6 and could have had double that. Spurs were never in the game. It was fucking great fun. My son watched the full game for the first time.

Would far rather be watching that than Jose or Arteta parking the bus for 90mins after scoring one. Honestly don’t understand any fan complaining. Someone above even moaning about Salah being wasteful after breaking another goal/assist record. Fuck me
