Like you, I’m a huge fan now after initial reservations. He plays a very smart game and is more than ready to go where there’s pain involved. Reminds me a bit of Terry, but with a decent character.
They did well considering…not too much criticism from me to be honest
Don’t worry. PGMOL will have a whole lot of explaining to do to the English public when FIFA deliberately chooses zero English referees for upcoming world cup.
Sick and tired of worrying about which fucker is officiating every game and if he is more or less prone to fuck us over. They don’t even have to be biased, their ineptness is more than enough. We would have had 3 points in the bag from the first half, had Tierney done his job competently. But he didn’t and we ended up losing Robertson and 2 points in the process.
Not that we didn’t contribute to our own dowfall. Alisson’s blunder after going ahead was painful, especially since he had been brilliant until then. Robertson then follows it up by getting himself sent off. You just can’t come unscathed after that.
We are now 3 points behind the manc cunts having no idea who will be available and when. Salah for one didn’t look like himself.
Well done Jurgen I’m proud as punch after that interview.
We needn’t radically change our approach. but when you’ve been cut open like butter again and again, then a few minutes of consolidation, with people in formation to calm things down would be one way to go.
We need to relearn how to change gears again, which we did so brilliantly from 2018-20
“I have no idea what his [referee Paul Tierney] problem is with me"-Klopp… Klopp gon be fined for these comments
Very well spoken by Jurgen there. No way Tierney can be given a game of ours again for a very long time. One of the few good things to come out of today.
I agree. My own opinion was Millie wasn’t very good, but my overall point was that given the circumstances and situation, they held in there. That was a big ask for that midfield combination tonight, for a variety of reasons.
Spurs and Conte will walk away from this match swinging their dicks around like they’ve done something. Fuck Spurs.
How could that push on Jota not be reviewed. What a fucking shambles the EPL refereeing is. 4th official and VAR all completely ignore it?
Corruption at it’s finest. Wonder how much the Etihad is paying these referees off to ignore these calls. Fuck me
A smart decision. Take the fine and get this referee as far away from our fixtures as possible.
That’s it I thought bar a few mistakes we couldn’t probably do much better given the circumstances.
Read my post above. VAR is there to correct the ref on objective facts he got wrong, not on his interpretation of them. VAR can think the ref has made the decision of a dickhead but cannot over rule him if its just a difference of opinion. Tierney saw the incident correctly, he just decided that Jota tried to game a penalty by creating the contact. That’s a personal interpretation that VAR cannot overrule.
Chris Sutton slagging Jurgen off on Radio 5… What a knob Sutton is
Does Robbo sit out the Carabao Cup game or league games only?
Hope Hendo is back for the Leeds game.
Conte being very diplomatic about the ref saying he doesn’t want to talk about the decisions. Of course, no one ever wants to focus on the ref when he was your best player.
A mistake by Ali, but it was unfortunate.
In our system, the keeper has to come out quick to snuff out danger. 9 times out of 10, Ali would’ve made contact with the ball. Just messed up.
If he did a De Gea all game, we would’ve been 5 down, as he needed to be on his toes as so were so exposed.
It is applied for all domestic games (99% confident).
Just said in sky he misses weds.
