I always try to be positive but can’t remember being as angry after a win. We’re so fucking soft, physically and mentally. Frimpong summed it up with his cry baby act after getting a bust lip. I coach my son’s under 6s and honestly they are made of tougher stuff than some of Liverpool’s prima donnas

That was a ridiculously stressful final 15 when it absolutely shouldn’t have been. The absolute collapse of form was shocking. Richarlison is still a little shit.

That was essentially three games in one.
First half: ponderous
After the first batch of subs: much better lots of chances, good goals.
After the first batch of subs went off injured and the shape changed again: sloppy.
Think if Spurs weren’t dirty cunts the second half performance would’ve stayed good, but cest la vie. Also think spurs were lucky to only get two reds, vile from them today.
No defeats in the last 6 with 4 wins. Level on points with 4th. Things are getting better. Keep ticking over and it’ll all settle.

We’ve seen a lot of poor performances this season but this tonight was absolutely shocking. Don’t know what they are doing in training but defensively we are a Sunday league team. The size of our two centre backs there shouldn’t be an issue from us trying to clear any high balls. A dire performance from the whole team.

Don’t know what to say. Turgid for 45 minutes. Got a few good finishes off in a tiny period of the game. Went back to being turgid. Absolutely embarassing mentality at the end.
The times when playing those slow and cute little 5 yard passess we insist on when attacking are the way out of pressure in moments like that and we decide to just blindly boot it anywhere on the pitch instead.
Bad injury to Isak and potentially few weeks out for Bradley again and Wirtz with a twanged hammy. Szobo suspended next game vs Wolves.
Still unbeaten but we’re another shoddy loss away from another L streak

Great to get the three points, but Christ almighty that might be the most brainless fifteen minutes of football I’ve ever seen.
And you can’t blame Slot for this. These are experienced, senior pros managing a game of football with a goal leads and a two man advantage. It shouldn’t need a football manager to tell them to hold on to the ball and stop turning over possession.

Great performance and the team showed great character to see us over the line, great 3 points and puts almighty reds back in his box for a few more days hopefully ( yes i know we didnt play great …)
