its at the core.

From The Athletic:

Stability has been restored — even with a few nervy moments late on after Richarlison got a goal back and then ran at Liverpool again — and the three points moved Liverpool to level on points with fourth-placed Chelsea.

I’m not talking shite. I’ve already said he should have got Robbo on earlier, but the last fifteen minutes is basically a bunch of players who should know fucking better losing their heads. That’s not on the manager.

Good grief.

When are we going to fucking grow up and stop taking at face value what managers say in press conferences and the media.

What about the first half (again)? And especially before the first red card? Did we play like we have a plan? Did we play like we were going to win? Did we play like a team with a full week of preparation?

We played like a team concerned primarily about not giving up a soft goal early in the game. Which is entirely understandable.

Basically the answer is no, no and no.

Lol, he had Chiesa and Rio and basically refused to use any of them.

God, I am so utterly fucking sick of this place.

@Mascot, I think the team is playing with fear, which causes them to collapse at the first sign of trouble. they are scared to make mistakes and then the final third play is really shit

How long have we been saying this for now?

I don’t think that was a game throw Rio into. Spurs were being exceptionally aggressive and cad clear intent to injure in a lot of their challenges.

Oh , everything’s fine then. Cool.

That’s clearly not true, Chiesa had the whole of one minute on the pitch. If that isn’t trusting your players to do a job then I dunno what is.

Mascot,
don’t be such a ‘ba humbag’, its christmas time, embrace it. It is only until end of the season. We won today.

even in the context of the past few months, no, its not understandable.

this shouldnt be the primary aim of a LFC match day team, (it could be a bullet point, ill admit that) but to mill around on the edge of the box with zero movement, i dont think we can lay that at the door of ‘lets not concede an early goal lads’…

the two situations are not related

Yep. It’s going to take time to play through this.

The most confusing thing is that they don’t take any risks when they need to, but when they need to keep it simple and just see out a game, then all the flicks, tricks and risky passes come out.

Yeah, stop being so miserable and negative Mascot, we won. Gosh.
