Like seriously how the fuck does this happen! What’s the excuse now, we had TOO much recovery time?!

A whole week to prepare the players for today and we were even worse than normally, under Klopp we were mentality monsters now we are fragile whimps. I just cant believe what slot has done to these players and how unfit everyone looks except Dom.
Fify
Is that fear also a part of is what is getting grilled into the players about not conceding and about not making mistakes?
if the same message keeps getting repeated, it can be back to what I have said before a self repeating philosopy.
Our effort is there but our awareness postionally and tactically is lacking is that down to individuals or the coaching or both.
Happens everynight to me, then I wake up and it is the dog licking my balls ![]()

Change you dog’s name to Margot Robbie

You know what’s worse than us losing and me having to skip MoTD?

Cunning plan Baldrick
Don’t let the bastards grind you down, said someone once.
This was a game that usually crackles but, in this case, fizzled and guttered. Somewhat gutted but will take the points.
Seems no mention of Wirtz and Frimpong was some odd tactical thing about injuries.
Liverpool face anxious wait to learn extent of Isak’s injury. Suspected lower leg problem rather than knee. Hope is that Bradley not serious and that Wirtz was only cramp. But scans needed for confirmation.
Lets be honest…that was fucking dire.
Take the points and fuck off.
Wirtz and Sozbo good the rest not so
He makes gomez look like iron man
To be fair to him. He didn’t just break down, did he. He was taken out in a fucking awful challenge, that should have been severely dealt with.
Just one observation from watching Macca, he was angry a few times at passes failing to come to him and at the ball being played sideways and backward, he looked very frustrated.
Three points the main thing, in a results based game. So I was glad for that.
Beyond that, not too much to be excited about. We were slow in our passing, not crisp, just playing most of the game in front of them and not troubling them. Wirtz to Isak was lovely, with a nice clipped finish. That might have been a little glimpse of the future. Ekitike carried on his goalscoring form with a lovely header.
I hope Isak is ok, or at least on the minor side of the potential scale of what could be with that injury.
The team overall got into a panicked sort of a game, and we were not good enough to be calm, and pass the ball well, and make Spurs chase shadows, which is the idea when playing against 10 men (or 9 men very late on).
Slot very much has work to do to instill a clear pattern of play. To my eye, we just don’t look like we know what we are working towards.
Still, with a win it keeps the wolves at bay (even if some have already decided about the manager, some even weeks ago).
I think Slot stays in situ while we are in range of CL. The result was ok, but there are legitimate concerns and we need to see more. He just had them for a week and I thought we might see a bit of cohesion for it, but we remain very much a work in progress.
I cannot fathom how we are despondent after a win, I get the fact that it was not vintage Liverpool but to want the manager sacked after. A decent run without loss is baffling.
We were very unlucky to lose 3 players coming back from injury after a very short period on the pitch and Spuds and their manager contributed to the chaos by trying to maim our entire team.
We have to aim for three more wins next to cement our CL spot and see what we can do in the transfer window as the numbers are dwindling fast after each game.
Christ almighty. Just seen the one where Bentancur takes out Kerkez. Late doesn’t even do it justice.
It’s ironic that Thomas Frank was claiming the game had gone and bemoaning that you can’t be physical anymore after the Simons sending off, but then also claimed our second goal shouldn’t stand because Ekitike lightly put his hands on Romero’s back.
