Before Matip got injured, it was looking essential to bring a cb in. Now that it’s ankle ligaments, it would seem very reckless to not bring someone in.

If the long term player we are after can’t be signed mid season, you would have to think we can do a loan deal for someone who knows the job and can help tide us over.
