Still in the thick of those UCL spots.

Good few games coming up for us (on paper)

Konate MotM for me. Everyone played well.

Is that the first game they’ve lost there all season? Good result either way. More of the same dull winning football if possible.

Oh, and a semi functional right back would be nice. Only need two more games out of Gomez before Szob can fill in - no way he gets injured between now and then right??

Szob was one game ban.

That right back position is cursed. You may as well play Ramsay there as he wouldn’t last more than two games anyhow scrappy at parts but dug deep and didn’t let the recent last 15 happen. Probably the most pleasing aspect was that and the goal.

Konate and VVD motm for me.

Not pretty but deserved the win.

Konate, VVD and Mr Endo my MOTM.

We’re still struggling to create clear-cut chances and Wirtz needs telling to just put his fucking foot through it sometimes.

Pity about Villa scoring late on but we’re in a much better position than I thought we’d be after the weekend.

Good win and important one.

Waiting for the select few with their posts:

“Good win but it’s a shame we had to depend on a lucky own goal against a Sunderland team. Embarrassing that Slot is celebrating as if we won the league. Still Slot out. And btw, Gakpo sucks”

Good win, I was particularly happy with the latter stages how we controlled the game as well as possible, Sunderland didn’t have one chance. Everyone played well today which was nice to see.

What a professional joey g is, comes in after the 1000th injury of his career and looks like he hadn’t missed a second.

A well deserved win. Konate was outstanding tonight as well as Flo and our captain.
Hopefully Endo’s injury is not as bad as it looked. Joe performed well when he came in.

I know it’s the wrong post…but…do we know when Frimpong is back…

EPL injuries have him potentially back for the 21/02 but that’s based on a few weeks comment from Slot. If it indeed was then it’s just the cup against Brighton and I would hope he considers Ramsay for that at least.

That looked much better from us. Scrappy but controlled. You can see why Sunderland have such a good home record. All you can do is keep it tight at the back and create enough chances for the laws of probability to stick you ahead.

It was a blow with the Endō injury. We are starting to run out of players.

Yes, a good win but at times we played too deep and our midfield needed to be more combative.

Really unfortunate for Endo and I hope it doesn’t rule him out of the World Cup.
