The subs were bad to unlucky from Slot…Diaz was totally absent. Nunez was kinda horrific, missing quite a few chances, Trent was coming into the game but got subbed for a sub who later got subbed due to injury…

It wasn’t just the miss. It was the godawful pass to Diaz, and offering absolutely nothing off the bench just like at the weekend.
I’ve been one of his biggest backers but I’m fed up at this point. Hope he still has a role to play in winning the league (like he did against Brentford) then we get rid in the summer

City are getting a pasting from one of the best teams in Europe at the minute, but they just put a good Newcastle team to the sword at the weekend. Going to be a struggle if we’re continuing to look as sloppy at the back as we have been all month. Hopefully Gakpo is ready to play at least 30 mins, because I worry that over-reliance on Salah is going to make it difficult for us.
If we drop yet more points on Sunday then the narrative will ramp all the way up and we’ll be in a proper dogfight. Not where we wanted to be given our form over the first half of the season.

We don’t have enough quality midfielders or central defenders in the squad. Every team plays through our midfield and now they all look tired and no one good enough to take their places.

No but they had a goal ruled out for offside so they were attacking and should have really scored on Jota incident.

I’m in the same boat. Tonight really made my mind up, sadly. We need a new 9 in the summer - one who can preferably play Slot’s system, which Nunez (and I’m starting to worry Jota) are not suited to.
