Wow, spooky!
I wish @Alright_Now was on to see this, he used to take the p out of me and @Magnus for our predictions.
Yeah miss the man dearly. Hope he returns to us sooner rather than later !
By the way, congrats with your predictions
Was tempted to switch off at half time and watch the wall I had just painted start drying. Fortunately I didn’t.
Got what they deserved. Don’t know who my commentators were (BeIn on Spark Sports) but it was a Wolves and Connor Coady wank fest. How much of a Carragher wannabe is Coady?
This is going to be the equivalent of Villa away in '19-'20, I am sure of it. YNWA let’s bring home No. 20
Jenus is a knob, who should stick to crap day time TV, or the one show,
rather than commenting on football, IMO…
it paints a thousand words…
Divock just loves a 95th minute winner in the first weekend of December doesn’t he?
The prick on sky said Cody was the only scouser on the pitch today.
Origi… legend!
A match of pure frustration of 93 minutes to sheer euphoria.
My 3 picks:
- Big Div (who else?!)
- Joël (Has he got the okay from the Boss to play in midfield today? All those penetrating run through Wolves midfield and defense!)
- Ali (Don’t have much to do but absolutely was there when called upon.)
Shout out to Fab and Robbo on the crucial tactical foul. Absolutely hated it when the opponents did that to us though!
Once Adama Traoré was taken off, the speedy and bulldozing threat from Wolves’ right was gone, while removal of Aït Nouri finally gave us the in that we so desperately needed on our right.
The Portuguese are a shitstain on football and have been for years, just fucking cheats so I’d imagine much of it is down to their new manager.
The Wolves fans have been cunts since they came back up. Hopefully they’ll all be back in the Championship in a couple of years.
Made the exact same point hopefully it is.
Jenas is unfortunately one of those new breed of pundits who mistakingly now believes he was a better footballer than he was.
They were as bad under Nuno.
I’ll forgive them under Nuno for beating Man City almost every time.
Yeah…can put 3 men on their arse, with one deft turn by Divock…wonderful.
Thick git…
Well said @jaffod. I was trying to formulate a similar post during the match but I didn’t want it to sound xenophobic or offensive. I’m just not at all a fan of that style, those tactics, or generally many players from that area. I was going to call them the Portuguese Burnley, but I didn’t want to offend Burnley. 12GF / 12GA through 14 matches? As I said in the match thread, Bruno Lage can eat shit. Garbage manager, garbage tactics, garbage club, garbage supporters. Absolute shithole. Scoreline flattered Wolves in a massive way. And I don’t know who was on my commentary but I felt I was watching WolvesTV. The amount of wanking obnoxious and cringeworthy. Raul Jimenez what a classy player, so fucking injured that he rolled himself back onto the pitch. That’s not simply cheating that’s just disgraceful.
Our boys played well from the start, just couldn’t do much with the final ball or heavy touch in the final third. Wolves were hanging on for dear life for long stretches of the match. They got exactly what they deserved in the end and justice prevailed. Wolves supporters are a grotesque lot.
KING DIV. LEGEND. LEGEND. LEGEND. Just absolute legend. An enigmatic, mysterious, legend. Shoutout to @RedOpium for not only calling Div’s winner but he called the minute too!!!
I said at half that Thiago and Fab were tops for me. Fab wore down in the second half but he and Thiago were likely our 2 best players in the first half. (IMO)
Matip was again outstanding. Showing the bravery and courage to make runs with the ball. A few misplaced passes but he has the courage to make something happened. I also thought he was rock solid defensively in our end.
I’m going to reserve what I really want to say about Jota. We won the match and all the shine should be on that, the win and resolve of the boys to get the 3 points. I thought he was the worst player on the pitch today. What’s worse, he was playing for no one but himself. Selfish and most of the time detrimental to his side. He wanted it to be all about him in his return to Molineux. Im really disappointed in him, and IMO doesn’t deserve to start the next league match.
