i agree but i do have empathy as well… these guys have been at it 5-6 years straight, with country commitments in between and then u throw in the way klopp likes to play… legs gone folks!!
I agree with @Yiannos33 , I have faith in Jurgen. I believe he can turn it around with new players coming in, if he is allowed the time to do it. He has to be ruthless now.
When he first arrived, our team wasn’t that great and he brought players and the team improved. We have an ageing midfield who need to be replaced, Nunez and Mo can’t seem to score a goal at a crucial moment in the match.
I am getting worried now. If we can avoid relegation, it will be a bonus. Every other EPL will be looking for an opportunity to win against us now, as the team are looking vulnerable physically and possibly mentally.
I could have coped with a draw or even a 1-0 loss, but the score line seems to get bigger every week.
Jurgen has a very hard job to try and solve the issues going on at Kirkby. I hope he finds a solution soon, even if it is temporary to save our season.
I may have said it 100 times recently, but sort out ownership issues, and the rest of the club then has a chance to get some alignment and a framework within which to build it up again.
Owner and a new DOF need sorting. In addition to that, there are too many injuries, so training and sports science needs to be fixed too.
On the pitch, we all want to see a couple of top midfielders added. At the least. We can go deeper than that if we like, but that’s the priority.
I kind of understand it just seems to be beyond that.
Next season is going to be rough. We are likely going to be a bit better than this then, but it is clear much of the team needs rebuilding and I doubt we will get Top 4 next year. It is no longer just about this season, I see no signs that this team can compete unchanged.
money has been spent but not enough, especially with the ambition of LFC. Signing one quality player (while we on top of the world) per year has not been quiet enough as the results show
Ten?
What penny pinching as Mascot88 has quoted is 300m quid spent on a team that won the CL and finished with 99 points didn’t need the same massive amounts spending on it.
3rd goal kinda reminded me of a game between dads and kids.
Dads letting the kids think they’re doing well, then just got bored and put the game to bed.
Gomez doing a fine impression of the useless kid who never gets picked, then gets his chance against the dads, and shows everyone why he never gets picked.
With no European competition next year, we’ll at least have more time for training.
Jürgen Klopp:
“I’m so disappointed and angry about the first 15 minutes, I can’t find the words for it.We caused our misery with the first 12 minutes. That cannot happen. It’s really tough to swallow.”
Did you let the bet ride or did you cash out?
Any chance you won 4billion to buy FSG out?
No it’s not , these greedy yanks are here to make as much money as possible, we have operated on a sell to buy and it brought success through Klopps style of play , we got fuck all to sell now nd fuck all investment.
Not if we have to play 46 games
that 300 is spent over what time period? You still need to spend to keep the squad fresh especially with how we play.
You mean the results this year because 3 90+ plus points totals a league win a CL win and both domestic cups isnt good i dont know what yiu want.
Good for you Dane.
Few more weeks of that and you will be able to buy 0.000001% of us.
Klopp’s teams usually get better with matching, and winning teams needs to play a lot to sustain high form usually. I think it is genersally better than not to play many competitions if you have a large enough squad. When we were at our best we played everything and often found form and good experiences from cup and UCL play.
I would love us to get UEFA league for European play and matching but i dont think we will qualify any longer even for that.
