Saved myself a lot of pain by watching Ireland instead :shamrock:

Exactly.

People just looking in the wrong directions to scapegoat…fans with a bit of understand will know why we’ve fallen so hard flat on our faces.

Nail. Head. Needed to replace the protection that Mane and a fit Bobby gave to our midfield in a Klopp team

Again, not good enough.

The two Wolves games against Lopetegui were already quite tight/bit lucky in some moments, today we got a new slap after Brighton.

We have days between games, I wonder what Klopp will say now. Probably nothing new.

First half so bad, a little bit better in the second, even though we playing poorly we created a few chances but not able to score. 22 shots in total with only 3 on target. Lost my stream on 81 minutes and didn’t even bother trying to get it back. Please god we turn up for the bitters game.:pray::pray::pray::pray:

Of course, Klopp wouldn’t do that sort of shit. However, the reputation that Keita and AOC is getting here with us are harming their chances of getting a good contract from other clubs after their association ends with us.

Who in the right mind would want to sign a player for 150k/week if he is unavailable for half the time? Even Man City don’t do that sort of shit despite having so much money.

The real merciful thing would be to get our sporting director to push for sales of the deadwood early on in the window or if the price is not high, just take the hit. In the worse case scenario, we can ask the player if he wants to get a mutual termination of the contract so that he can get more game time in other places while freeing up a squad position for us. That will require cash in advance to which FSG may not sanction.

Yes

How did you do that? That’s scarey

One to watch.

Obviously he has been well off his best, going back to last season. He has rightly been dropped, and Klopp - unusually, spoke about him in his recent press conference.

So I don’t know if there’s some friction now?

Anyway, one to watch.

To my mind, in addition to contract expirations, none of our older midfielders - I am talking about Henderson, Thiago and Fabinho - are bullet proof. I wouldn’t be bothered in the slightest if we parted company with all of them in the summer, but I know that changes are unlikely to go that deep.

Any news on Carvalho? Scored that goal, then has been mostly out of the team. It’s not like Ox and Gakpo have offered much to keep him from not even getting sub time.

Henderson has history in playing for us despite being injured. I wouldn’t be surprised if that the situation this season. Whereas Fab has just turned from 28 to 48 overnight.

Problem is now, we’ve been found out, and every team uses the same tactic.

Attack our RB/LB with numbers, play fast paced midfielders to outpace our aging midfield and we are done for.

There’s no answer with the current squad, so we’ve just gotta make the best of it until summer and then pray for 500m investment into the squad.

Really disappointed today. Haven’t felt like this before. Wishing something would spark this team back into consistency. Too much disjunction going on.

Can we not just ‘go back to basics’?

Firstly, (I know some people have slagged Nat Phillips of in the pre game thread) but for the first two goals:-

Goal #1 (Joel) He doesn’t let it bounce thinking Ali might come for it. He puts it in row Z.

Goal #2 (Joe) He would have headed it out for a corner. Which would have given us a chance to regroup.

Right at the start of the 2nd half we went at Wolves. It ran through to their keeper who punted it in to our half. It ran through to Ali who played a short pass to Joel who turned and went into the right back area where he was fouled. If the Wolves player hadn’t fouled him and actually won the ball he was away on goal. Trent was upfield.

Sometimes it’s easier to ‘lump’ it upfield and let their defence deal with it, rather than putting our defence under pressure.

Mo needs dropping. He’s offered nothing for weeks/months. Drop him and make Darwin the main prong of our attack.

not sure that is entirely a good thing → doesn’t work right now and more chances of injuries…

Our biggest mistake was not strengthening our midfield. I’m not against Gakpo but a midfielder was a priority.
can’t wait until VVD,Luis,Thiago,Konate return.
I mean Diogo

Let’s hold them back until after the next game or we’ll not see them again till next season.

Top Reds in SoS, theRedMenTV and here will threaten to boycott or unfollow Liverpool Football Club if some arab related to the ruling class in Middle East comes in with the money.

Kinda sad they actually boycott the club just because some Arab with links to the ruling class comes in with the money to buy the club.
