That’s wrong. This pen was in cricket terms an umpire’s call.
If he never gave it, saying to VAR he saw contact but not enough, the non-pen would never be overturned.

Really proud of the reaction by the lads after the 2-1. We lose two points, but their reaction was one of champions. And Fulham deserve a point for their efforts to be fair.

You do understand that refs are explicitly directed to consider the effect of contact to make sure that only contact sufficient to impede the attacker is penalized, right?

Deserved draw for Fulham, we looked far better when we changed and especially when Milly came on and Hendo went to the 6. Before that ho hum, too slow and inaccurate in possession.
