Pre and In Match | Fulham vs. Liverpool | PL Matchday 01 | Saturday August 6th 12:30h | Craven Cottage

plenty for Klopp to sort out. Some of the players out there are so casual that they need some tearing apart by Klopp

Starhub needs a new tearing of the arsehole as well!

Reread your own fucking comment :joy:

You dont get call to call people blind who dont share your opinion and then complain about insults.

cue response that I didnt understand your comment

Of course, but there was enough contact to impede Mitrovic, who of course made the most of it.

I really don’t understand the furore regarding that pen. It’s a fairly standard one. If it was given in any other game, no-one wouldn’t even blink an eye on here.

We have been flawed a big number of times with pens in the past, but this one was perfectly ok imo.

Its one reading, but you dont get to tell people that there is no room for debate over it when it is a 100% subjective call

Id say poimts dropped but on that performance…point gained

Good we didn’t lose!!!

100% @Worgan
All contact isn’t an automatic foul.
That was never a penalty.
Liverpool were in the ascendancy when it was give, and poor as we were that decision cost us points.

IMO if Salah was given that penalty everyone would be blasting VAR

Any post match thread

Annoying is probably the best word to describe it. As much as Fulham had a game plan and stuck to it, we were fucking diabolical in possession and committed far too many stupid fouls. Matip stupidly gave the ball away even if the pen was soft and Trent got bullied by Mitrovic. We were unlucky for sure but we did not help ourselves.

These days happen, but we need to get this shit out of our system — all those stupid draws early season was what did us in, when you look at the rest of the results.

I think Firmino’s game play has been figured out by the opposition as with him dropping deep, the opposing DM, CBs and FBs can focus on nullfying Salah and Diaz which blunted us a lot.

Nunez is a different preposition against teams that defended deep and it showed today. Gave us our first shot on target today. Gave us our first goals and assisted the second.

Of course, it’s never 100% objective, but if we start questioning that kind of standard penalty given against us, then God help us for the rest of the season!

You’re right that it was the worst display in a long time, and that we were second best. And probably that’s why it’s important to be able to react even when we’re not any good.
At half time, I never saw us having two goals in us ever in this game…

kekeke I am not using Starhub but I am seeing so many complaints on them online haha!

Didn’t see the game: just wanted to add the reason we lost the title last season was too many draws. So getting a point here against a relegation favourite is very disappointing

Just seen it again and yes there was contact so know arguments as long as we get the same when there is contact on our players in the box

Well trust you to poke your beak in.
I was criticised during the week for questioning Atwell, to the point of annoyance.
I simply pointed out that anyone who still thinks Atwell is not biased is blind to it.
Not really pointing fingers am I?
If you think he is fair then thats ok.
I responded because @WeeJoe annoyed me.
Overreaction from me?
Maybe. But his comment to me really pissed me off.

BTW
Atwell is a biased cunt, with form.
Disagree?

It is an example of exactly the sort of contact refs were told to have a higher bar on 2 season ago

Bright side: Nunez with a naughty flick, will do him a world of confidence. Somebody pointed out that it’s really the first time Klopp has had a big striker — not named Benteke or Origi — as the #9. Combine that with his technical ability and pace and we have a different dimension.
