Get Salah, Diaz and Firmino 15 yards closer to the oppositon goal and we’ll probably win, we might even create more than 2 chances.

I’m reasonably happy with that as a starting lineup. No one is out of position and there are still a couple of decent options on the bench.
As far as Carvalho is concerned, what forward positions could he realistically play? I have seen him referred to as a winger. Could he play Salah’s position with Mo in the middle?

It’s the line-up which has brought us success over the years, and it’s the one which could be expected, given our current injury issues.
That being said, it’s the mentality which needs to change from the previous games. Start at 100%, pin them back and apply relentless pressure on them. The crowd will help in that regard.

Just watched the Mancs playing Southampton. Young lad called Adam Armstrong playing for Southampton reminded me of Bobby four years ago. Excellent player.
