Oooff, great last gasp challenge from the Palace defender there, but a bit of a sloppy first touch from Nunez opened the door for tha

Not getting the luck atm. Hit the woodwork a few times last week as well. That’s not sustainable long term, things will regress to the mean of us scoring more often than not.

Will be concerning if we don’t win this, but hardly season-ending.

Have faith everyone.

That just shows how dangerous we can be.
Now FFS score in the second.

Elliott and Milner the bright sparks.

Still a long time to get this sorted.

Goal was poor from start to finish - Mo, Fab, Philips, and VVD all made poor decisions - but shit happens.

6th game in a row we’ve gone 1-0 down - something needs to change there.

Elliott having his best game. .

HT 0-1

Classic smash and grab. All the play till the 31st minute. Then a ball over the top let in Zaha, who coolly hit it past Ali. Smart counter.

Now Palace can double down in the second, continue with two lines of 5 and 4, with an outlet in Zaha over the top.

We’ve created some chances, Nunez just before the break the best of them, so just need to take them.

No you can’t blame them being good at it but our defending in midfield and at the back for their goal can be complained about

One chance taken. Eleven men behind the ball. Desperate defending. Shades of the first few seasons under Klopp.

Can we just run at em…they’re bound to give away a foul or even a pen…just do something different…

Harvey playing well. That’s about it

Wtf is the matter with us?

First 10 minutes we played with intensity, zipped it around, flew into the press… then the complacency set in. Started with Robbo failing simple passes, spread to the team over complicating everything, slowing it down and then they score with a terrible goal to concede… since the. We’ve lost our way, zero leadership being shown.

Elliot again the best player on the pitch, the only one playing with intensity.

We sorely lack a finishing touch. Bar Elliot our midfield is depressing.

Still on holidays…

If had controlled ball better wouldn’t have been stretching for it.

Two clear cut chances for them, 1 goal. On our end, nothing a 100% chance, but quite a few half chances. We playing well, not that concerned yet.

Wtf is Hendo doing on the bench?

Quite disappointing. We have created maybe 2 chances and one other half chances. Then there has been many good “moments” in the offensive play, but we struggle to create clear cut chances and Nunez is disappointingly un-clinical. Technical miss in both the situations where he could have scored had he hit the ball correctly. Then we had the lovely ball from Trent to Salah, where Salah’s header was very weak. We didn’t really create more chances than that. Palace had 2 good ones, 1 of which resulted in a lovely ball.
Also, Phillips is struggling a lot and it affects our security at the back, but I don’t blame him, as he has been thrown in here to do his best.
