So many players just that bit below par. Both full backs for a start.and Mo just not firing, looking very ordinary. Sadly we do not have the players to change anything.

We play the same formulaic football every match. Opponents just have to put in an organised low block and we are simply nullified.
They hit on counter and coupled with lethargic defending, we have a recipe for disaster.

Problem with Mo at the moment is he looks to do too much, no one overlaps to put indecision in the defenders as he never passes it, whereas if Robbo overlaps Diaz will play the pass. Mo had the chance to play a ball inside to Elliott for a quick give and go and he held on to it, watching City that doesn’t happen the ball is passed quickly and players are always moving

Get Diaz and Salah in the channels between the FB and CB. Bobby can then operate in the number 10, rather than going even deeper. Width from ANdy/Trent like a few years back.
If we don’t win tonight and no new midfielder comes in tomorrow every team will feel they can get a result against us.

Mo holds onto the ball too long and ends up giving it away.
Shambolic defending for that goal. Bad all around starting with giving the ball in our own half. Not convinced with Hendo as LCM and Salah and Diaz this wide. Meh.

The reason we’re so easy to score against is because we have no legs to get back when going from a lackluster attack to defence.
Unbelievable that 80% of that XI were starting 5 years ago, Unreal.
Just too slow and lateral. Let’s them set up the block. We then play across the front of it or got a hopeful cross. We need tempo.

And Andy has only done this a few times since the start of the season. He seems to be caught between attack and defence - running back out of position when we lose the ball, not overlapping in attack.
Fabinho goes out to close down the player, which is the right thing to do, but nobody has told him or he hasn’t realised Van Dijk has been sucked out to the wing.
I wonder how many subs will klopp use.
