A functioning Centre Mid, got to be someone who can at least compete with that CM we have now.
If I told my boss, sorry I’m ill or sorry boss cant make it today I got a swollen pinky half as many times as Naby. I’d be crucified.
Actually beyond sick of some players who are like this…if you get legitimately injured by an opponent then ok but we seem to inure ourselves before a ball is kicked.
Is this Brighton midfielder any good? Never heard of him until about 4 days ago. Also Rashford as a good record against us at OT. Must stop that
You work for the Roman Empire?
But if we didn’t have injuries ours wouldn’t be or if United had injuries theres would be struggling to understand your point.
Nah mate, just ye ol’ Bill from round the corner.
Don’t wanna get on the wrong side of him though.
A true Roman affectionado walking the extra mile with his employers
That we’re gonna smash them regardless of injuries, which is the point I made
You forgot Kewell and Smicer
Notice they are almost all midfielders
Fair enough
Two goalkeepers on the bench, but apparently we don’t need to sign anyone.
I know the main man at Beeline,
I used to work for a coach hire company for few years and we used Beeline Coaches quite frequently for the GM/Lancashire region…might give him quick call to see if he can get the kids back at reduced price. Because I’m a nice guy.
Jeez, that Naby injury is either awfully inconvenient or awfully convenient depending on whether these rumours of contract negotiations stalling and him looking at options are true or not. Either way it’s pretty shit for us given the absentees in that area already.
An awful lot to put on Henderson, a 37 year old and a teenager with just Fabinho as a real experienced option for a change there in midfield. And that estimate of 2-4 weeks is already going to be at least 3 and I don’t think he’s even returned to training yet.
Win or lose we need another midfielder before the window closes as the injury prone ones have yet to miraculously be cured of their injury proneness.
Our bench is highly suspect, first team not perfect , but should be more than good enough to compete with Manchester United. Much also depends on how those subs Erik Ten Haag has made glues and how solid their shape will be. It’s the first time he tries that composition, which arguably should be an advantage to us. As long as we don’t get many cards or worse, an injury, I expect us to be able to beat them if our guys plays their best.
If we are looking to shift Naby, pretending he’s yet again injured isn’t something that works in our favour.
