Pre and In Match | Manchester United v Liverpool | PL Match Day 3 | Monday August 22th 20:00h | Old Toilet

That was two seasons ago. The rescheduled game ended 4-2 to the Reds. Philips OG and Rashford for them. Bobby x2, Diogo and Mo for us. COYR YNWA :+1::nerd_face:

The closest rule I can find would be in regards to 1 team not turning up, like the Scotland game in Tallin.

So my thoughts would be no matter what happens, we turn up and get suited for the game and be on the pitch ready to kick off. If Utd don’t turn up then they will forfit

There might be a chance the Utd fans stop our bus travelling to the ground

The only defence they have.

From the caf, has to be a wind-up

---------------------------De Gea
Dalot - Varane - Martinez - Maguire - Malacia
-----------------McTominay - Eriksen
------------ Sancho - Martial - Bruno

Martinez can push to CM when we have some momentum and let McTominay do his surging run to the box.

This. Couldn’t have put it better myself.

Now where’s Florentino when you need him.

With the other results going our way (hopefully Newcastle sees out the match), makes it more important for us to get the 3 points even at this early point of the league. We need to get our season started.

We need to win anyhow regardless what else is happening. The start wasn’t really that hard and we’ve fucked it up a bit.

Just flush those mancs down their Old Toilet. Even if it is not a proper trashing like last season, but any win would be perfect.

Not many different starting options to in defence and attack. It seems both Gomez
and Bobby are ready to start so they simply have to be in the starting XI.

The only dilemma for Jürgen is the engine room. I would play Elliott-Hendo-Keita from the kick-off. Elliott is our most in-form midfielder, so he should IMO keep his place. Naby seems to be fit as well so he starts. Fabinho is really out of form so I would start Hendo as no. 6 instead and rather let Fab regain his confidence and form against Bournemouth.

Wonder does Ten Hag try to get Maguire and De Gea playing out from the back again. We could batter these if they give us another 30 minutes even of that Brentford stuff.

Keita for Harvey is the only debate imo
Doubt Matip is risked, could come on though and Joey moved to right back if we winning. Millie also for Hendo if needed. Then Carvalho on 60th

Just need to kick them when they’re down. Clean sheet. Hand them another chunk of goal difference.

Looking at how they reacted to going behind against Brighton, I’m thinking the first goal will be huge. If we get it, I think they’ll fold.

Just think of the experiences that squad has had together, it’s all been pretty dreadful over some time. Several players lost their heads on 0-2 against Brighton, I felt they were saved by half time in that game, giving them the chance to regroup.

And then on the back of that first half at Brentford, I don’t think it takes much for them to crumble against Liverpool. I think they desperately need the first goal, so hopefully that doesn’t happen. Don’t give them anything.

I can’t get behind Milner starting here or ever if we can help it. He come on for the last 30 minutes of matches to see them out.

I understand that, and its no disrespect to Milner. He will realise his value to the team, and as time progesses his value diminishes.

I am at a loss of all the people slating Millie, he has been far from our worst player during either of our openers and still can offer us plenty for 60 mins or coming on to give us impetus

Its not slating him to acknowledge that his value to the team depreciates with time.
I think we all love and respect him to be fair.
