We don’t look like we have a gameplan over the last few weeks. I just think unfortunately that emotional energy and passion that Jurgen can usually inject has just deserted him. He can see the finish line and hasn’t been able to motivate himself to go again one more time.
No knock on the man, he cares just as much today as he did at any point in his Liverpool career, but it seems that physically and mentally he just has run out of steam.

Shit performance overall this one. Players got caught up in the pressure of set piece after set piece and then just couldn’t make the chances stick. Same story since the cup final really.

We have lots of young players in the squad… the season’s slog has taken its toll on them - everything becomes disjointed when some of the parts under perform
