He’s on the bench as is Milner. I presume Niether is seen as fit enough to play 90 minutes. Last time Hendo played he was subbed off due to this something I think Klopp dislikes he prefers keeping all his subs for eventualities imo.
Not overly surprised Hendo isn’t starting, bound to be some rotation with the CL starting and some big games on the horizon. Probably wants him ready for Milan.

Nabbys had a stressful week so can see why he is left out but i am surprised he isn’t playing if fit.

Interesting team. Elliot again. Cool. I really hope he will take these chances and grow. So far, very good and I like what I see.
By the way, our defence looks really strong on paper. Trent maybe weakest link (but he is sooooo good offensively so obviously worth it) but everyone is just really good.Certainly our best. A sight we have seen far too little last season, with Matip and Van Djk flanked by our younger defensive wings. Love it !
Let us hope our guys can find a way to play themselves into top form now soon. Would be terrific to go on a long spell of W-W-W-W-W-W-W-W-W-W and so on

With K Phillips back for Leeds, they will look more like last season’s team, so will be a tough game.
