Only midfielder was Fab and he was struggling to get back.

45 mins gone and I don’t get what the stats say the score if the only important thing.

When you have a player like VVD out for a year and everybody agrees how much he is missed, you don’t drop him, unless he needs to be dropped and then you decide does he play 60 against Milan and then sits out Palace or does he get dropped for Milan.

How that answer can ever be “rest him
For Milan” is beyond me.
