Well that was a disappointment. If Salah had buried his penalty we would have had a very comfortable evening and a great start to the group stage.
I was expecting for them to get a chance sooner or later, just not two so quickly. We really do love making it difficult for ourselves sometimes.

Well… Before the 1-1, I’d have said that this first half was the best I’ve ever seen played by LFC, apart from the lack of clinical finishing.
Now, I just don’t know what to say, apart to tell the lads to play with the same intensity, and to keep their concentration at the back. This Milan team is utterly dangerous going forward. We just didn’t see much of it because of our dominance, but they certainly know how to play football, and where the goal is.
This game could go anywhere from here, really anywhere. We have Mané on the bench and he’ll surely come on at some point. Let’s cross fingers and hope that we can score an early goal in the second half. In that case, it will be a hell of a second half for sure!

Can’t really complain about team selection then state that we dominated. Selection was fine, players missed chances then lost concentration
