Generally if the ball deflects off a legal part of your body onto your arm/hand they dont give handball. You’ve also got the consideration of where his arm is relatively to his body…is the movement of his arm towards the ball a movement of his arm, or a movement of his body that his arm is attached to? It’s a judgement call, no right answer, but it is harsh. I think it just feels more justified because it was directly related to stopping a goal. That shouldnt factor into a ref’s decision though. Taylor is a shit ref though.
