Just joining in, and have to say that was a good red on James. On the stateside feed, can clearly see that the ball is going in even after hitting his thigh, and he forcibly plays ball away with arm. No doubt stopping a goal with an arm. Straight red for me.
It isn’t harsh. It’s a stonewall pen and a stonewall sending off.
The ball is going in. He stops it going in by moving his arm towards the ball and pushing it away.
That’s a penalty, and a red for denial of a goal.

Especially given his baseline has already been to give Chelsea so much. We really need to keep them out of the box.
Their changes at half time make me feel a lot more comfortable though. they’ve now got 2 CBs who are not going to be able to stop our ;lads running at them (Rudiger because of the yellow and Silva because he cannot run) and Kante is off.
