You can see they are double tight on Salah as he is our biggest threat. They are giving Mane more room knowing that he isn’t his normal self. That means we are easier to defend against

Regardless of what Klopp does with our RB in the 2nd half, Hendo must sit and help Fab in DM duties. We don’t need to play 442. We need the drop the idea of Hendo playing AM and so forward

By far the weakest half I’ve seen us play all season. I’ll take the silver lining of ManC not capitalising on it so far.
Looks like a total role reversal , as in City show the dominance by pressing we should have.
Fortunately they are as wastefull as we been often enough in such situations.
We need to adress Millner’s side now that he gone into the book - our left side is totally dead , Curt looking intimidated most of the time - and Joel - for all his hands on action - basicly has no idea where to put the ball all the time.
I wonder if Bobby or Naby for Curtis would be a good idea - the lad looks a bit rabbit in headlights today. Not shure though…

A dire last twenty minutes. Can’t put two passes together. Needs to get Milly off before he gets a red. Midfield have got to get into the second half.

We’re not getting anything from Millie offensively so the usual objections to Joe coming in to play there (he cannot attack the way trent does) are not that relevant. There are multiple areas where we’re struggling, but I think removing this outlet might help get us on a more even footing everywhere else.
I don’t like the negativity about the performance. We’ve been a distant second best and struggling, but City have been superb. We’re not shit, they’re just making us look like it at the moment. Too many of our problems are from not being able to cope when we’ve got the ball. Too many times when there either isn’t a ball on, or the guy we’re passing too is forced to work too hard to keep it. Dont know if that is a cue for Bobby to come on and try to find better spaces to open things up for us, but it seems like the only other change ATM that makes sense.
