City went to Chelsea and absolutely dominated them, this game has followed a similar pattern. They look worryingly good. Not sure if like for like subs change much here, something has to change system wise.

Wouldnât mind Tsimi at right back just to concentrate on defending. Then jordan to double up with Fab a tthe base to offer stability and cover for both full backs. That will then allow Curtis to link with the front.
Jota to drop a little deeper to give passing options.

This reminds me of the same issue we had with Brentford, Hendo is too high up for me, lose the ball Milner is mad exposed.
I mean Fabinho canât be everywhere all the time, Jones playing in his shell, no service to the forwards.
You canât let City play, need to be more aggressive instead we look scared and lethargic in our passing.
Klopp needs to wake them up.

If City had Harry Kane, theyâd be winning this now.
Our initial hoof ball high press tactics didnât lead to anything. City adapted and exploited the high press an we didnât adapt to that.
Milner is struggling as he hasnât any help and is misjudging the long balls to Foden.
He might do Firmino for Jones. It looks like an attacking sub, but it actually pushes Fab and Hendo into a clear double pivot.
Watching the highlights VVD is nowhere near anybody much of the time. He is poor today.

I honestly donât think City have been that great. We started fine then just got so cautious and timid. Weâre not shit, but definitely were in that 1st half. Trust in Jurgen to change things for 2nd half

Hendo and Jones need to find a way to get in the game. It is always worth trying man marking for a spell to get into the pace of the game. We are playing to many little tip tap balls at the bac. Need to be more positive.
