Pre- and In-Match | Wolverhampton vs Liverpool | Saturday September 16th 12:30h

So who would he replace after the Villa match? Gary and the Bosz are unlikely to step down, that leaves Curtis who could consider himself unlucky to be dropped.

From the Villa game we only really need Endo or Bajectic not both, so he would replace one of them.

We can easily play with 4 midfielders and just have Mo and Nunez playing upfront for Wolves.

I expect this is what Klopp wants , fluid formations for different teams.

There’s no reason for him to replace Jones yet

Neither started.

I took ‘in contention’ to mean having a chance of starting.

I’d rather play with all 5 attackers.
Wolves are shit.

I know you did, but because it will be his first game and the exisiting midfield playing well I think its unrealistic to drop anyone to accomodate him.

He will be eased into the team and will debut from the bench, as it should be unless we are threadbare.

The game is become more and more about the full match day squad, especially with 5 interchanges.

You really need to read some, they’re brilliant books, not just for kids either

Maybe so but Pratchett made it famous lol.

It was famous among a quarter of the world’s population before he jumped on the bandwagon.

Now if German red posted that I would be worried.

Even his ‘kids’ books are pretty good to be honest.

Anyway, Wolves only managed points against a woeful Everton so far. Defence looking pretty leaky.

If we match our levels from the Villa game we should be comfortable for the win.

We have made a good start. Hate the international break as it is a momentum disruption.

Hopefully everyone comes back fit, and then let’s see what’s what. I expect Van Dijk will have an extra game ban.

If we play to our level, anything like the Villa game, we will have too much for them.

Up the reds!

Same. They always seem to turn up against us , and that shithole where they play their football has a fanbase only slightly less toxic than the Mancs.

I wonder if our Latin American quartet will be fit/available for this game after playing on 12 or 13 and then taking a trans-Atlantic flight.

Pretty good start, though to be fair, results were somewhat better than our performances. Villa performance was the best in a while. It is how it is. Main thing is that a good number of points are on the board, we haven’t conceded much and when we get back it’s back to work to improve our balance and crystalize more our first 11.

Really the only disappointment is the away draw at Stamford Bridge, I feel like we would have had much better control and won the game if we had Jones in the midfield instead of Gakpo who did not look comfortable there.

But since that game we’ve had Jones get fit and signed two more midfielders so can’t complain too much.

You do get the occasional Robert Plant sighting though!

Ifti, a transatlantic flight in business class is like a night in a five star hotel.

Does anyone know why Quansah withdrew from the U20s?
