Then you thought wrong. Neto is talented but he’s struggled with major injuries. He’s having a good start to this season but he has something like 2 goals and 3 assists in his last 50 appearances.

I agree with this and we’ll learn a lot about what this squad has got inside it.
One of the most frustrating things for me last season was the amount of times we went in at half time behind and never managed to mount any sort of fight back.
Shocking half but let’s see what these lads are made of.
How we bounce back this half will tell us a lot about how far away Liverpool are likely to be this season

Incredibly sloppy first half from us. Mac looks jetlagged. I’m not sure what accounts for the others. There are either some very wayward passes or players that aren’t anticipating where they are going.
I’ve just seen the goal again and not sure how Alisson ends up behind the goal line.
I can’t see Diaz or Darwin making much difference if they are stuck in another time zone at the moment.

How it’s only one goal I’ll never know, but really, we need to shore up the right side of our defence. Neto is playing and finding spaces as if there was no-one around him, it’s horrible to see.
Kloppo needs to make changes here and now, either tactically or in terms of new players, because the current set-up isn’t working at all.
ENDO for Mac. Elliott for Jones. Nunez for Gapko. If we haven’t scored 2 in 20 minutes Diaz for Jota.
