Pre/In-Match: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Liverpool Sat 28th September, 17:30

Next up in our league campaign is a trip to Molineux to play bottom of the table Wolves. Yes, bottom of the table. On paper they are worse than Everton.

Wolves are struggling with a shortage of defensive players, although their recent games would indicate that they are becoming more organised at the back even if their results don’t reflect this yet.

No team news yet, Elliott is still out but we would hope for some positive news on Alisson. Obviously there may be updates with Arne’s happy, first thing in the morning, bright and fresh press conference.

Referee: Anthony Taylor
Assistant refs: Gary Beswick, Adam Nunn
4th Official: Darren England
VAR: Michael Salisbury
Asst VAR: Dan Robathan

The next game is Bologna at home on Wednesday, so plenty of recovery time if Slot decides to start with his strongest XI.

What time zone is this?

The one that applies to Liverpool.

Whichever annoys @cynicaloldgit the most.

BST.

It’s 16:30 GMT/UTC etc. 18:30 in CEST, 22:00 in IST, 00:30 in SGT, 02:30 in AEST, 09:30 in PDT and 12:30 EDT.

Obviously, the day may change for our more eastern fans.

What is this? Fun with clocks? Just wait until they all change at the end of October!

@cynicaloldgit just can’t deal with this newfangled time zones thing.

On the contrary. @cynicaloldgit 's pocket watch handles time zones natively.

They don’t all change at the end of October. That would be too easy. It’s the fun weeks after some but not all change that we really live for.

I’m sure that Arne and his team will know the personnel, formation and tactics to see us through this game. COYR YNWA :+1:

We almost have a clear first and second XI so the line up is unlikely to throw in any surprises.

I’m just delighted after 7 games in, Harvey is the only long term absentee so far and that was when he was away with England.

This is the placeholder for Slot’s press conference at 9am tomorrow:

Trying to out-early bird Arne?

Remember.
If we win this and we are not top of the table it’s because Haaland was not banned for his violent conduct.

City away against Newcastle without Rodri, KdB and Ake.

Maybe this is it, maybe he fancies his Greggs sausage barms.

Still haven’t got over Forest.

Team picks itself, have a feeling Kellers goes again.
