I have never seen anything from Williams that makes me think he is good enough for Liverpool, but he plays because we have to play him due to injuries. But he is a liability and the times things have gone well, it usually looks to me like everything goes well. But now when we are now in the “float”, he looks as good as he probably is. Even so, I would never scapegoat him, he plays because he has to.

I honestly think Klopp is as much to blame for what’s going on as the players. I mean who in their right mind would play Rhys at CB when he can’t run for shot. What’s wrong with Philips? He’s not any worse than Rhys.
The subs have been horrendous from him lately and it seems as though we never have plan B.

Why does anyone think Phillips is quicker than Williams?
Do we not remember Aaron Connolly doing him a number of times against Brighton? Or Wilson against Newcastle?
Phillips has just played less, that’s why we haven’t seen it as often. He’s painfully slow and bad on the ball.

Yes indeed but he’s blatantly not anywhere near fast enough to play at this level.
the constant chopping and changing the back 4 doesn’t help either. I would rather play 3 at the back, if we are out of CBs and let both Phillips and Williams stay there with Fab.

I don’t understand logic of picking strong team then play so slow like we have. I thought the idea would have been to knock shit out of them early then slow down and make your changes.

As per my previous comment on Hendo getting beaten too easily, it is due to him trying to win the ball too early when not in a position to do so.
