the commentary is infuriating. I get that villa are playing well but not everything is david v goliath. Our front three should be firing against these, no doubt, but weāre playing a baby defence as well.
Front three were dreadful, no creativity from the middle of the park either, Williams is too slow at this level. That sums it up for me. Villas 1st team would have hammered a performance like that.

Weāve been rubbish, even though we should have scored about 4. Salahās profligacy in front of goal is really hurting us. Giniās chance was embarrassing for him. Terrible decision to try and lob the goalie from there.
Midfield has been pedestrian. Taki is terrible. The ball just pings off his feet. And he turns back all the time.
Obviously we thought we could play this at snails pace. Need to be ruthless now.
I do think we are being a bit precious not expecting the commentators to be praising a team of largely teenagers putting in a shift against the League Champions.

As IndianScouser says, its not something we can afford now. If we had played our kids then iād have happily seen us go out. I wont be too unhappy if we do now but the confidence wreckage that will leave is too much. We have UTD next week, dont want to face them after losing this with a full team.

Could have been anyone of 10 to come off. But Hendo was particularly awful.
