Adrian looks completely destroyed. The Atletico moment probably half-finished him already, but this is the end of the road for him. He won’t recover from that and the best would be to leave the club a soon as tomorrow.

Just minutes before the half and right now there is only 1 team out there that seems interested in winning. Sadly it’s not Liverpool, but I’m not sharing anything you don’t already see.
Honestly, Gomez needs to sit. He needs to know he has to do better because he has not been top quality in a long time (on a regular basis).
I’m also ready to move on from Keita. Granted right now with injuries and players having COVID I’m not sure what the right answer is, but I don’t see Keita as a player that is going to make us a truly dominating team. He’s a good player, but I just don’t see the special I want out of a focal central midfielder.

We’re going to have to get used to Gomez being the worst player on the pitch, because every team is going to attack that side and Trent will be nowhere to be fucking seen.

Yes, their attackers have been so incredibly much better than our defenders, who look slow this half. I had not expected Aston Villa to be so good though.
This feels like that 5-4 match vs Norwich a few seasons back…17/18? Very open, wild match.
Robertson keeps throwing the ball across the box but with his head down and not picking out the player. Nobidy making the near post run is concerning
