Absolutely agreed. And I’m happy for Villa. They deserve to be up. Our boys body language and effort from the off was terrible.
This is far and away Virg’s worst match in a Liverpool shirt.
EDIT: and I don’t at all agree with The Boss’s assertion we don’t need another center half.

I dont understand how you can blame anyone but Gomez for his part in the goals.
He has played huge parts in all of them, not the prime error for each but a hand in each.
That to me says he’s playing terribly. Yes others are, but he is the worst of them all.
I dont know what has happened to him but he goes from 10/10 to 1/10 week by week, if it was Lovren he’d have been crucified.

No it’s much too difficult with the defence having to play as high but with zero confidence. However , Villa’s luck may run out.
He’s just been the last in the chain in a series of missteps several times. When it’s easy for a midfielder to turn our defense and get them running back to their own goal, it’s a kop out to blame the defender who is having to chase back.
