From pre-season, we saw that the high line would be diabolical if the midfield doesn’t press properly…It’s no wonder that we’re down 5 at Villa. The defense has been dog shit from pre-season. Total and utterly dog shit. Then come the start of the season I see some people giving VVD and Gomez 6 and 7 when they were dog shit against Leeds. Stop blowing smoke up their arse. They haven’t been good for a while now. Gomez in particular is rubbish. Matip should start if fit. In fact, the market is still open to get a proper center half.

Another deflected goal but i have to say Villa have our number. Anyone remember a film called the waterboy where the opposition coach knows exactly where each player will be and what hes going to do because of the little green book? Thats exactly how this feels. They knew Bobby would make that run and took the ball of him with no trouble at all, same for all our passes. Its almost like they know what we’ll do before we do
