Cmon Mascot. I know you are an avid supporter of Gomez judging by your defence of him on the other forum, but that first half and a bit performance by Gomez has Lovren hooked off at half time in an alternate universe. And Klopp agreed in this instance. It’s completely unfair to single him out solely and I made that point in my first post here, as the midfield gave him no protection. But he was clearly rattled.
His long term future doesn’t ride on this performance. Nor his spot in the pecking order. But he just shouldn’t have been on the pitch in this instance and Klopp made the right call.
