the person who instituted that ridiculous high line towards the end of last season needs to shut the fuck up, especially when the midfield is as useless as the defense. Oh yeah, Firmino hasn’t been good for a while now.

Had much worst than this mate.
We have played this high line for a couple off years but our pressing has been poor, well actually non existant, a high line depends upon pressure on the ball to suceed

This sucks, of course, but I’m pretty sure it was this weekend 10 years ago that I got up hungover in college at 8:30 to watch us lose to Blackpool at home…so things could be worse. Performance was shocking but it’s only one game, and as long as the squad responds as they should I think we’ll be fine.
I’ve now replaced fume with calm.

I don’t think just buying a CB will fix our D issue. I actually think it’s our midfield that’s where the problem is. They haven’t protected our Def very well and teams have figure us out. They need to tighten it up in midfield and start pressing again. Too much time for the opposing sides
I can’t decide if the Int break is a good thing or not a good thing.
Think a few players going to be a tab embarrassed about turning up for their national teams

Managers get sacked when you have clowns like Gomez playing… I would have been more than happy had we sold him to Wolves as part of Jota deal… He looks like he doesn’t care a shite… Shameful… It all started with Adrian though… He is passing to Gomez when he is facing the goal…
