Its across a lot of social network you take them with a pinch of salt.

I don’t believe in dread. You know that.

Hope you feel better. Ice and Advil.

And if we win we’ll make that four games in succession after the break (Everton).

Technically doesn’t matter if we win. Either way we’ll be facing an opponent with a 100% record.

True! I was somehow conflating it with both teams going in with a 100% record.

Much rather Alisson in net for Chelsea and Arsenal than Villa if I’m honest… Did ok last season.

More of a worry if its a thigh injury means he is picking up a lot of muscle injuries i his legs.

My gosh, the injuries are piling up quick. Mane, Thiago, Allison geez.

Lets hope we get 3 points, i am very nervous.

To be fair 2 of those aren’t injuries.

I know that, but unavailable still means unavailable.

It’s a long season and we’re bound to suffer our share of injuries and other conditions that prevent our guys from playing. That’s the reason we have a large squad - so that we have capable guys that can come in and put in a good shift. Otherwise we’d just have a threadbare small squad of 14 guys right? Adrian has done that in the past and done very capably. We’ve already seen what Diogo can do, and we have an embarrassment of riches in the middle of the park even without Thiago. We’ll drive the Villans off their own pitch, just watch. 3 points to the Reds!

They are the ones that worry me. Do we have much data as to what the recovery rates are for athletes? Being free of a virus is one thing but getting up to elite levels of fitness is something else.

Providing Adrian makes no fuck-ups we should be o.k. I like the fella but the Atleti game was the final straw for me. I don’t want to see him in goal for any meaningful games and that includes tonight.
We have plenty of options in midfield whether Hendo makes it or not and one of Jota, Minamino or Divock will fill in for Mane. Bobby needs to show up and not be so lax in possession.
It wont be easy but we should still have too much for these.

I am genuinely curious as to what the other straws were? We didn’t lose a premier league game with him in goal when he filled in after Allisson was injured last year, he saved a penalty that gave us the Super Cup, and was generally reliable apart from Madrid. I don’t see how you could ask for much more from a backup

I cannot agree any more with this.
