Unsarcasticslly I think that’s exactly what happened.
Trenty…geez…take your time…
Trent been well involved, but decision making been very poor
Fuck me, we’re asleep again. That was a bad miss.
Handball in the buildup.
Our centre back on the edge of the opposite box passes to our right back who is offside.
true story… not the only one whose decison making has been poor
Lallana fucked already.
This is not about VAR missing it, but a limitation of how they allow VAR to be used. The ref saw it and simply decided that a goalie is allowed to kick an attacking player in the throat while challenging for the ball. There is nothing VAR can do to over rule it. The issue is the absurdity of what we’ve somehow come to accept that keepers can do to not just put their colleagues at risk, but to actually injure them.
I thought VAR could look at possible red cards and advise the refs. Definitely a clear and obvious error too not to send him off
Unfortunately thats poor Lallana all over.
He’s been on 5 minutes!
Virg looking after his mate
Death, taxes and Lallana not lasting 10 minutes after coming on as sub.
Lallana looks like he’s going back off. That was a wasted substitution then.
Lala off
thats the lallana we know and love… injury after injusry
The more I see the assault on Diaz, the worse it gets.
Let it go man !
VAR could have asked the ref to look at the monitor but chose not to.
bas1492:Should be red, foot and hand into Diaz there but i have zero faith in VAR
O ye of little f…yeah, had same thought that they’d never give it.
Can see their thought process.
- Can we somehow rule the goal out?
- Shit, we can’t. Does look a little troubling by Sanchez.
- Well, they’ve got the goal, so we can just ignore it and say it was a robust but fair challenge
If that was united
- Goal stands no matter what.
- Red card.
- Give penalty too (you never know, maguire might fuck up this lead)
artwell…
