But he was offside so the system works. As soon as you have the abillity to measure and assess the actual moment the ball’s played, you have to have a set and simple rule. The reason it was brought in was because of the number of duff decisions by the officials. The beauty of offside is it’s not subjective (if just based on foot position).

Yeah, unfortunately he is. It is a tough ask to demand that he is top class premier league defender at current, so I won’t judge him harshly at all, but he is really not good enough at current.
But I understand why he plays. Our injury situation is what it is.
