Biggest problem here is with Macca. He needs to speed up the play

Yeh, but apart from all that, we’re playing great.

I just find ourselves too narrow and too ponderous…We need a bit of width and pace…I would think Frimpong coming on will give us both…

Burnley haven’t done anything different we haven’t seen a million times before, we knew what they were going to do before kick off and still we opted to play the same drab side to side then back football we’ve seen. We’re making it hard for ourselves and the football is shit. People don’t like to read about it, I don’t like to see it.

Its always the fucking same dude. Always.
I don’t really do in match threads much, but you are never fucking happy?

Totally agree I have said it week in week out coaching a team to be ultra defensive is easy, it is ciaches like Thomas Frank & Iraola who are good coaches as they are adaptive and don’t play this anti football shite.

Just imagine being a player in a team that has 20% possession and the player with themost touches is the keeper.

Patience, patience patience, oh and some more intelligent off the ball runs.

You may as well piss against the wind. He doesn’t understand and won’t ever.

There’s just on thing wrong with that idea …

Macca looked to take the free kick and he kept moving to block it not retreating.

Nope, Burnley are making it hard for us. As is their right.

Do we need to start worrying about Kerkez?

We need pass and move, movement is what is lacking

That’s a weak synopsis. Can you recall one intricate free flowing move we put together that half?

We will score within the first 5 minutes in the second half.

Bring on Frimpong and Ngumoha. For Gakpo and Mo.

Not yet but Robbo will need to take him under his wings though…

Come on Mr brains, tell us how to break down teams that are ultra defensive, because if you have the answer then you would be above Klopp, Pep and Arteta and would be worth millions.

Its not the most advanced low block we’ve ever played against.

The space is in the wide areas.

Good running up n down the wing…needs to push strikers away from the penalty area…and stop trying to claim fouls…we don’t do that in this team…watch n learn from Robbo…

Nope. Like Robbo when he came in, full of enthusiasm, but playing at a higher level requires focus and sensible decision making. This will be a big reality check for him and he’ll be better for it.
