Pre Match Chelsea vs Liverpool, Sunday 2nd Jan 2022 (!) - Premier League

He had to in the end, he was in such a small minority he had no choice

To be fair he seems to be hated by fans of all teams even United and City. They call him Anthony “scouse” Taylor.

Yes it’s funny how he is that bad everyone thinks he supports someone else.

The fact that they would a) ask for a postponement, and then b) not field one of their prize forwards for a non-health reason really does establish that they are trying to game the system.

With Lukaku playing we know how they are going to play without him it is more difficult, Konate and Virgil have huge pockets and Lukaku fits in easily.

I feel strangely calm about this game. Probably because I expect City to walk away with the league now and so I want the cups to be our priority. I think our fanbase are owed one or two Wembley days out. Long overdue.

We just have to do enough in the league to secure top 4…and hopefully win a couple of cups. That would represent a really good season

Not for me. It’s a soul-less shithole and an absolute chore going there.

We could be out of both cups in the next week anyway. :worried:

This must mean he only has two world class players at each position to pick for the team sheet instead of three. Hard times.

It’s a pain in the arse to get to but I have to say I love Wembley.

I never went to the old one so that may have something to do with it but I would love to see us lift a trophy there.

Rumour it’s Fabinho, Millie and Hendo in midfield

It’s Ali, Bobby and Matip

Not a bad midfield

Firmino can’t catch a break, can he?

By contrast, I think Alisson sitting out a game isn’t necessarily a bad thing. He has been erratic by his standards, and a rotation might actually help him recover equilibrium.

Big game for Kelleher

It’s a bad combination as that’s the core of our defensive line. Fab is probably the biggest miss - I’m assuming Hendo will fill in for him?

Fabinho after a break is generally pretty poor, as he was against Leicester. Against a parked bus that will look to counter at pace I reckon its a good miss for him.

Fabinho is fine, Firmino has COVID
