Why should we take the high road? Let other teams plan for us because they know who is out? Nah not karma, just playing by the same rules as everyone else.
Was having this conversation with my wife. We have long lines of people in sub zero temperatures, standing outside in the snow, waiting for Covid tests (not vaccinations). Now if someone tests positive or someone get cold symptoms (likely due to what they doing), then you supposed to get another test or self isolate due to proximity/contact tracing, so it’s an exponentially disastrous strategy.
I hope we don’t suck. The entire team has to click, or at least click more than those plastics, and take our chances.
Anyone have the odds on that Rudiger thug lunging into another ridiculous studs up “tackle”? How that guy has not been sent off recently, is baffling. Refs and VAR shitting the bed again.
It has occurred to me before. I’m in Germany so the systems may be a bit different. When I was pinged I was able to get tested within half an hour. My wife is a nurse and we have pretty much been told that we will be infected at some point so we are triple vaccinated and testing every morning so the we don’t spread it.
I’m just wondering who our Covid positives are aside from Klopp? I noticed that this time they aren’t announcing them up front. Or have they?
There’s no process to reveal personal medical information is there not? Nor should there. It’s a private matter. It’s up to the individual and no one else whether they want it to be made public. Team sheets aren’t announced until an hour before kick off anyway.
If Klopp made comments that such information should be made public then yes it is a strange take.
Just beyond rich. Nobody is raising even a peep about City and their mysterious covid-proof squad rolling through teams who have players missing due to covid. All while their hamstrung rivals are allowed to drop points because they are honest and admit to players being tested positive.
I’m not even going to mention VAR and refereeing which itself alone is bringing the league to disrepute. It’s as if City is paying off the journos to keep schtum as well as controlling the PL decisions.
As for this match…meh…of course I want us to smash them…but what’s the point. It’s a bent league…kind of like what the European Super League would have been
Oh he is absolutely full of shit. Just rolling out this news story from “friendly” journos to shore up any suspicious questions about how they haven’t had any significant covid absentees whatsoever!
We have the most judicious and conscientious squad when it comes to covid (comes from our great manager) and even we’ve been decimated. Unless these blue fuckers have been going into cryogenic sleeping pods after each match and training session there is no way they are telling the truth about their covid situation.
Dropping Lukaku may hurt us. Without him and their two wing backs, they are more likely to park the bus and try to hit us on the break. We need to win, not draw, and we sometimes have problems breaking down bus-parking opponents.
Fair play to Chelsea for dropping Lukaku. A guy on the Chelsea forum yesterday said he’d been dropped. Same guy also said Jorginho might miss out with a back injury. Hope he’s right about that too.
I’m just looking forward to seeing us play again. We can’t be as bad as we were against Leicester. Expecting a much better performance today.
