Yup. Robbo would have done that. Kerkez did nothing all game except running down the wing and passing back. Robbo would have atleast defended far better.

Mo is getting so isolated on the right now because Frimpong and Bradley offer absolute jack shit with the ball. Trent needed to be respected these 2 don’t.
Salah has been poor. Depressing. Chiesa lost the ball twice very casually after scoring. Jones and Frimpong were poor too. Rio hardly had a touch. And Wirtz - he shouldnt start games. Should come has sub and build match sharpness.

To be fair this result has been coming for weeks. We are not playing well and have been a bit lucky. I hope Arne is as good as we think he is because we don’t look as good as our “ageing” team from last season. Two many similar style players and one or two that are struggling to fit in. It’s a bit of a mess but the biggest thing for me is the lack of pace. That first half was too cautious. It improved second half but still short of an average Kloppy side. A lot to do

Can someone explain why is Salah stuck on the byline this season just like in 2021. He needs to be there in the box all the time…he is absolutely getting wasted there on the byline offering no threat to opposing centre backs.

He is an upgrade on an aging Robbo, who will be long past able to play at this level in the next few years, as Kerkez eases into his prime.
You are judging peak Robbo against emerging Kerkez. That’s not fair. This season is the only season where they will be close in ability for us. Robbo is slightly past peak but still good, Kerkez is not near his peak yet and is on the way up.
