Good job we got 27 bonus points when he started in the league last season. We wouldn’t have won the league otherwise.
I’d put Matip in for Joe (that lad needs to be taken out of the firing line for a while). Fab , Thiago and Hendo to harrass the fuck out of them in the middle of the park. Mané as our 9 with Jota and Salah either side.
There’s no fucking way we are losing to these.
1-3
Origi in before any if the regular 3, plus Minamino, Shaqiri and Jota makes no sense. He is way down the pecking order
Knowing Klopp, I think there’s more of a chance we’ll see:
Adrian
TAA Gomez VVD Robbo
Hendo Thiago
Salah Jota Mane
Origi
I’d also prefer Fabinho at CB for this one but himself and Firmino must be knackered with all that travelling.
I agree. That’s the way to go. Starting with Origi is non-starter, imo. Better to put him on for the last 20-30 mins and have him bring on all kinds of nightmares for Pickford. If we aren’t already three up then that is …
I have a feeling this’ll finish 0-2.
Fixed it for you
I think Origi should spend the whole match warming up behind Pickford. That should be enough to unsettle them.
Nah, Just let Pickford see Origi getting off the team bus when they arrive should be enough to unsettle him
Even with all the flak he (rightly) got after the Villa game , I’d still rather have Adrian in goal than that fukin’ jack-in-a-box Pickford.
Yeah man!! That’s the spirit!
This is the most important game of the season, well at least it will be until the next one. It’s an absolutely must win game.
And never have these words been more heartfelt with the 237th Merseyside derby this afternoon.
In the Lowton household, the apparently endless round of recriminations and backbiting following “that” game has gradually abated but the wounds are still raw. The mood, like that of Schopenhauer’s lambs in anticipation of the butcher, best summed up by the poet, that of all sad words of tongue or pen the saddest are these; “It ought have been”.
My humour has not been improved by being confronted with the basest of human contrivances, the abomination of desolation that is the lunchtime kick off. Even with the aid of port, to still the turmoil engendered in my soul, my disposition has not improved. Port, usually an unfailing specific, seems for once to have lost its magic.
On the subject of lost magic, I enquired of the Mem if she and her fellow harridans of the Golborne & District Townswomen’s Guild might consider abstaining from performing their rituals skyclad.
A lesser woman might have wilted at my suggestion. Boudica bore it with fortitude. She is made from sterner stuff, and has prepared once more to come down like a wolf on the fold with her cohorts all gleaming with purple and gold. To a mild man, this is pretty hot stuff; I am filled with admiration for a quick worker.
Meanwhile, Lawro, his cup having runneth over, like a diminutive Vlad the Impaler keen to deploy the skewers, has forecast a one all draw.
Hopefully his attempted kiss of death won’t throw a spanner in the works and upset the apple-cart.
I’ll take a scrappy 1-0 win to us.
Lots of confident posts here but the fact that the last time we actually scored a goal at Goodison was 4 seasons ago makes me think this will be another nervy game and 0-0 or 1-0 either way is the most likely outcome.

What???
It will be tough. Let´s just hope for a return to form and a comfortable win although any win will do.
I placed a bet on us winning 4-1 or 4-2. So it means we will win 4-0
Not going to lie,i’m extremely nervous about this game as i forgot to get some king size rolling papers so now i have to join smaller papers together to make my spliffs.
Howdy all… hope everyone has been keeping well.
3 points please, and let’s bring the neighbours back down to earth
Life’s tough.
Matip and Thiago starting
Can’t argue with that
