What the fuck happened to Keita???
My only guess is that Cain is more of an attacking midfielder than Clarkson so he could play in some of the positions that Jota does.
Alternatively it could just be that Clarkson had his appearance and Klopp wants Cain to get a chance if the game works out the right way.
My new theory is Shaq, Keita and Ox are the same person. Have you seen more than one of them together?
Thatās what they just said on NBC.
good one
Another victim of Wednesday night by the looks of it. Our bench looks so weak so letās hope the 1st eleven does the business
Its not been confirmed anywhere officially yet.
It has been confirmed by Klopp apparently.

Un fucking believable.
Game 34 missed by Keita in 29 months.
Think nabys time could be up end of season. Try make some money by not letting him go into the last year of his contract
Horrible news on Jota, complete head scratcher on the need to play him in a dead rubber, tough one to take.
Good to have Alisson back and Ox making the bench.
Strong team that should be able to do the job. If Palace take 2 points off, we will be top.
Get in Palace
Thats too easy a narrative though isnāt it?
Jota is a 2nd choice striker so he should be starting dead rubbers. Fair enough can argue heās now 1st choice, but had any of the other front three been picked (as someone drops to 2nd choice if jota is 1st) and got a knock there would be complaints there too.
Nothing you can do about impact injuries. They happen in training sometimes. Part of football.
Understandable if heād done a muscle and can argue klopps put him in the red.
Came off second best following a collision with a digestive biscuit.
Many of our players are sold from the line up announcement to the start of every game. Minamino after the game.
@PeachesEnRegalia have you made your post yet??? Do it man, donāt jinx it.
Mitrovic not even on the bench? Interesting.
Sorry for posting something a bit negative, but I am still utterly perplexed by the team selection in midweek.
If Jota is out for months, then Klopp really did fuck up. There was no need for anyone other than kids, those returning from injury, those needing minutes, and those not really that important to the first team (Origi), to be fielded at all.
The next three PL matches are a real opportunity to take charge a bit in the title race. Weāre getting bad decisions, and our squad is struggling with injuries, so we canāt afford to do anything else to ourselves to affect results.
We all disagree with some of the decisions managers make, such as who was subbed off, who wasnāt brought on, selection decisions etc.
But to risk fatigue and injury like we did on Wednesday is really frustrating.
Anyway letās hope the positives see us through. Really impressed with Jonesās progress, Matip can be top class when fit, Fab looks every inch a quality centre back, and Bobby is starting to look like his old self (not least because of the competition for places Jota brought).
Really hope they sort Giniās contract, because for me heās the most under-rated player in the side. The sort of Dutch Rolls Royce that top sides like Milan had. Iād be looking to move on the injury prone Oxlade and Keita before the ever reliable Gini.
Yeah, fucking raging about Jota. There was absolutely no need to start him in that game. Piss poor from everyone involved.
But we have to put that behind us now, and look forward to the game.
